TICKETBUNKER / CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Ticket terms
& privacy.

Updated 20 October 2026. The refund wording below applies to new bookings from this date; earlier bookings retain the terms agreed at purchase. Mandatory consumer rights always apply. TicketBunker is operated by SOUNDBUNKER ALGARVE, SOCIEDADE UNIPESSOAL LDA, NIF 517757478, 542 Dunas Douradas, 8135-188 Almancil, Portugal. Contact bookings@theticketbunker.com.

1. Your event and your ticket

The event organiser identified on the event listing is responsible for delivering the event and its venue, schedule, admission rules and event-specific information. Read those details before booking. TicketBunker provides the ticketing platform and account tools.

Your ticket is valid for its named event, date and ticket type. One valid QR admits one person once. Keep your ticket link and QR private. The venue may check age, identification and other clearly stated admission requirements. Copying a ticket does not create an extra admission.

2. Accounts and ticket transfers

Use a genuine email address and accurate attendee information. Access to account tools requires a verified email. Keep your password secure and contact support if your account is compromised.

Eligible unused tickets can be renamed or transferred before the event using My tickets. Transfers move ownership to the recipient's verified email account and replace the previous QR. The platform currently limits each ticket to five ownership/name updates. A transfer does not collect a resale payment or transfer the original purchaser's payment record. Do not rely on a forwarded screenshot as proof of ownership.

3. Refunds, cancellations and changes

Tickets are normally non-refundable for a change of mind, mistaken booking, inability to attend, late arrival or a missed event. Check the event, date, ticket type and published entry requirements before paying. An organiser may offer more generous terms, but cannot remove your mandatory consumer rights.

For EU bookings, the usual 14-day change-of-mind withdrawal right generally does not apply to tickets for leisure events on a specified date or period. This does not remove rights when an event is cancelled, changed or not provided as required by law.

Cancelled, postponed or changed events

When TicketBunker confirms a whole-event cancellation, affected paid bookings are queued for a full automatic refund to the original payment method. The original purchaser and recorded ticket holders receive cancellation notices; Stripe refund confirmation is sent separately to the original purchaser. There is no need to submit an individual refund request for that cancellation. Bank processing follows payment-provider confirmation and is not immediate.

If an event is cancelled without a replacement you accept, you can request a refund of the amount paid for the affected ticket. For postponements, venue or time changes, replacement of the programme or principal artists, or interrupted events, the available remedy depends on applicable law and the circumstances. You do not have to accept a voucher or replacement where the law entitles you to money back.

For artistic events in Portugal, statutory ticket-refund rules apply, including the rules for changes and interruptions and their legal exceptions. An organiser's decision or a “no refunds” notice cannot override those rights.

Problems during or after the event

Report a problem to the organiser or venue as soon as reasonably possible so they can try to resolve it. You may also contact TicketBunker after the event with your order reference, a description and any relevant evidence. A request is reviewed; it does not automatically trigger a refund. Attendance or a scanned ticket does not by itself remove a valid complaint about what was supplied.

A ticket that was not scanned is not automatically refundable. Refusal of entry or removal for failure to meet clearly disclosed, lawful admission rules does not automatically qualify for a refund. Incorrect refusal of entry, ticketing errors and alleged event failures can still be raised for review.

How to request and receive a refund

The original purchaser can request a refund through My tickets or email bookings@theticketbunker.com. Include the event name, order reference and reason; never send a password or full card details. If you received a transferred ticket, contact support so the holder and payment records can be checked.

The organiser is responsible for delivering the event and funding the refunds for which they are responsible. TicketBunker assists with ticket and payment records and processing. This allocation does not exclude TicketBunker's own legal obligations.

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. A full ticket refund means the amount actually paid for that ticket, including applicable ticket tax and after any discount. Partial refunds are identified as such. A free or complimentary ticket has no cash purchase amount to refund. Do not assume a refund request has been approved or paid until confirmed. Processing and bank-arrival times vary; mandatory refund deadlines still apply.

Refunded or cancelled tickets cannot be used for entry. Reselling, transferring or requesting a refund must not result in duplicate reimbursement for the same payment. Nothing in this policy restricts statutory complaints, consumer remedies or legitimate payment disputes.

Face-value resale — not yet available

Paid resale is being developed and is not currently a refund option. Current ownership transfers do not collect resale payments or automatically refund a purchase.

The planned service will be optional for organisers. Participating organisers will agree to cover the additional resale processing costs before enabling it. An eligible ticket will be offered at its original paid price; after a successful resale, the original purchaser will receive the full amount paid for that ticket, the new buyer will pay that same amount without a TicketBunker booking fee, and the previous QR will be replaced. Listing will not guarantee a sale or a refund. Final eligibility and cutoff rules will be displayed before listing when the service launches.

4. Ticket prices and fees

TicketBunker does not add a buyer booking fee. The final price, currency and any applicable tax must be shown before payment. A booking is confirmed only when payment is confirmed and the ticket is issued. Online booking is available only when an event displays bookable tickets. Sample events cannot be booked.

5. Organiser services and reporting

Organisers must provide accurate event details, a finish time, the necessary permissions for artwork, and complete account and tax verification before selling. Listing prices include applicable VAT / IVA and are based on total ticket capacity: €99 / £99 up to 100 tickets, €199 / £199 up to 500, €299 / £299 up to 1,000, and €399 / £399 up to 2,000. Events with capacity over 2,000 pay the €399 / £399 band upfront as a deposit covering the first 2,000 paid tickets. The final fee is that deposit plus €0.15 / £0.15 for each additional paid ticket above 2,000. After the show, the exact additional fee is reconciled from actual paid sales and deducted from event proceeds when the organiser is paid out. The deposit is credited once and is not deducted again. Unsold, complimentary and fully refunded tickets are excluded. The deposit is the minimum event fee if fewer than 2,000 paid tickets sell; no additional per-ticket fee is due at or below 2,000. Larger-event activation and tax treatment are confirmed before sales open. Charity exemptions require verification. There is no percentage commission. Advertised organiser fees and buyer ticket prices include applicable VAT / IVA. Payment-provider fees remain separate. Tax treatment and applicable cross-border adjustments are verified from billing details before payment.

The automatic post-show report is scheduled at the recorded event finish time and normally generated within the following minute, without organiser action. It records paid ticket revenue and attendance separately. Paid tickets that were not scanned still count as sales. The report is available in the organiser workspace; it is not a bank-payment confirmation.

The payout service releases eligible funds after the show, the report and reconciliation. The workspace displays a net amount only after reconciliation, and a bank-arrival date only when Stripe provides one. Refunds, disputes, available funds, account checks and banking delays may affect release. Standard payout starts automatically when the report and reconciliation are complete; expected bank arrival is normally 2–3 working days from release, subject to the confirmed provider date. TicketBunker is not an escrow service.

Optional fast payout is intended for eligible accounts after the same post-show checks. Choose Fast Payout before the recorded event finish time and consent to its fee: 1% of the instant payout, deducted from event proceeds with no TicketBunker markup. An eligible bank destination and sufficient instant funds are required; payout limits apply. Typically, an eligible instant payout arrives within 30 minutes after Stripe accepts it, but this is not guaranteed. Fast Payout does not bypass verification, available-funds checks, refunds or disputes. If Stripe cannot accept an instant payout, the portal shows the delay; TicketBunker does not silently substitute a standard payout.

Pre-booking four events gives 5% off base listing fees including applicable VAT; eight gives 10%. The best eligible account discount, valid code or bundle discount applies, without stacking. Owner-approved free listing accounts waive fixed listing fees only; larger-event usage and payment-provider costs remain separate. Offers apply to new quotes during their validity and do not retroactively refund paid fees. Usage plans are reserved individually and excluded from codes and bundles. The reservation form takes no payment; quotes expire after 30 days. Eligibility, activation, tax, payment and cancellation terms are confirmed before commitment. Bundle events are scheduled within 12 months of the agreed activation date.

Postponement and linked rescheduling

Organisers may postpone for £10 GBP including applicable tax only until 48 hours before the original start. Payment must be verified before that deadline; a payment confirmed after the deadline is returned and does not change the event. A confirmed postponement pauses sales and moves the existing event into an editable draft. Existing bookings, ticket identifiers and event links remain linked to that event. Buyers receive an email offering a full refund or keeping the booking, selected by the verified original purchaser for the whole booking. Admission is paused until the booking is kept. When the organiser edits and reposts the linked draft with a later date and valid finish, buyers are emailed the confirmed details. Kept tickets retain their QR identifiers; refunded tickets cannot be used. If the confirmed new date does not suit, the purchaser may choose the refund option before any ticket in that booking is used; released funds or other exceptional cases require support. These event-change rights are separate from any voluntary change-of-mind deadline. The organiser is liable for actual unrecovered processing/refund costs. Costs recovered or reserved from event proceeds are credited against separate billing, never charged twice or deducted from the buyer refund. Unresolved booking choices or refunds can delay organiser payouts. Hubs and scanners must download current event and ticket information before the rescheduled event; offline copies cannot receive changes without a connection.

Whole-event cancellation by the organiser

Self-service cancellation costs £25 GBP per event, including applicable tax, including for events priced in euros. The organiser must explicitly confirm cancellation and liability for actual unrecovered Stripe processing and refund costs, billed separately. Costs already recovered are credited; no organiser charge is deducted from buyer refunds. Stripe-verified payment of the £25 charge confirms cancellation, stops sales and payouts, and queues buyer refunds and cancellation notices. A checkout return page alone is not payment confirmation. Failed or abandoned payment does not cancel the event. Released funds, disputed payments or finished events require support review and recovery. Contact bookings@theticketbunker.com immediately for urgent event changes; this payment flow does not limit mandatory buyer rights or the organiser’s duty to notify us.

6. Featured events and promotion

The featured package costs €59 / £49 per event, including applicable VAT / IVA, subject to availability and approval. It includes one featured placement and one promotional email to the opted-in SoundBunker events audience. A request does not take payment or send an email. Delivery requires a published event, verified payment and activated campaign sending. No audience size, ticket sales or campaign result is guaranteed.

7. Privacy and your choices

SoundBunker Algarve processes account contact details, event and ticket records, payment references, attendee names, transfers, refund requests and entry scans to provide the service, protect accounts, support customers and meet applicable obligations. Payment details are handled by Stripe; TicketBunker does not ask you to send card details by email.

Service providers include Supabase for account and database services, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for payments and Resend for email. Necessary event and attendee information is available to the responsible organiser and authorised door staff. We use service records to fulfil bookings, maintain security and meet legal obligations. Records are kept for as long as needed for these purposes and applicable retention requirements.

Marketing is optional and requires a separate choice. You can withdraw consent in My tickets or by using the unsubscribe link in a promotional email. Buying a ticket does not automatically subscribe you. Essential account and ticket messages are separate from marketing.

The account uses browser storage to maintain your sign-in session. Third-party fonts and event artwork may be loaded when a page is opened. Contact bookings@theticketbunker.com to request access, correction, deletion or portability of your personal data, or to raise a privacy concern. Identity verification may be needed. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority, including Portugal's CNPD.

TicketBunker Scanner and local Check-in Hub

TicketBunker Scanner is a staff tool operated by SoundBunker Algarve. It uses your staff email address, account identifier, sign-in credentials and event permissions to authenticate you and restrict access to assigned events. Ticket QR contents, ticket identifiers, scan results, timestamps and a generated device identifier are processed to check admission, prevent duplicate entry, reconcile offline scans and maintain security. Online requests use our TicketBunker services hosted with Vercel and Supabase. Service providers may process connection information such as IP addresses in operating and securing those services.

The camera reads ticket QR codes and local Hub pairing codes on your device. Camera frames are not recorded or uploaded by the scanner. The app does not request microphone, contacts or location access and contains no advertising or advertising tracking. Signing in and scanning do not subscribe you to marketing.

Sign-in sessions and Hub pairing credentials are kept in device secure storage. Offline ticket fingerprints and pending admissions are stored locally so scanning can continue and later be reconciled. When you choose a local Hub, encrypted pairing and ticket-check messages are sent across the venue network to the organiser-controlled Hub. Authorised organisers and their door staff can access the event records required for entry and reconciliation. Prepare or refresh event data while connected; disconnected devices cannot receive later ticket changes until they reconnect.

Sign out or disconnect the Hub to remove the corresponding saved credentials. Do not erase a device holding unsynchronised scans before reconciliation. To request deletion of your scanner account or associated personal data, email bookings@theticketbunker.com from your registered address and identify TicketBunker Scanner. We verify ownership and delete or anonymise data that is no longer required; ticket, admission, security and legal records may need to be retained for the purposes described above. The app does not create new accounts; staff access is arranged through the organiser invitation and website account process.
